Niece Motorsports has assembled its four-driver roster for the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado, which will compete full-time for the Owner’s Championship in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season.

Phil Gould, who led Carson Hocevar and Niece Motorsports to a four-win season and Championship 4 berth in the NASCAR Truck Series last season, will call the race from atop the No. 45 entry’s pit box in 2024.

Johnny Sauter, the 2016 champion of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will begin the season piloting the No. 45 Chevrolet in the Fresh from Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

“I’m appreciative to everyone at Niece Motorsports for the chance to get back behind the wheel and start the season at Daytona,” said Sauter. “I’m ready to go racing and I know Phil and this Niece Motorsports team are ready to get back on track too. We’re ready to compete for a win in Daytona.”

Throughout the season, the Niece Motorsports entry will feature appearances from NASCAR Cup Series driver Ross Chastain, CARS Late Model Tour standout Kaden Honeycutt, and TransAm TA2 championship contender Connor Mosack.

Chastain, who drives for Team Trackhouse in the NASCAR Cup Series, will pilot the entry at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), Darlington Raceway, North Wilkesboro Speedway, Pocono Raceway, and Indianapolis Raceway Park.

“I love coming to race in the Truck Series,” said Chastain. “I’m thankful to Al Niece and everyone at Niece Motorsports for allowing me to get behind the wheel of these Chevrolets. We’re going to do our best to go out and win races and compete for an Owner’s Championship. It would mean a lot to me to be able to bring that home to Al Niece.”

The Alva, Florida-native has been with Niece Motorsports since his two-race campaign in the No. 38 Chevrolet in 2019. The following year, Chastain managed to compete full-time for the organization, grabbing the team’s first victory at Kansas Speedway and finishing second in championship standings after a three-win season.

“Ross means a lot to our organization and we’re appreciative that he continues to come back and race with us,” said Niece Motorsports General Manager Cody Efaw. “We’re also excited about the young talent we’ll have behind the wheel this season with Kaden Honeycutt and Connor Mosack. They’ve shown a lot of talent and we’re hopeful that we can help them polish that with more time behind the wheel.”

After joining the organization midway through 2023, Kaden Honeycutt will return for an enhanced schedule in the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado, beginning with the second race of the year at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Throughout the season, Page Construction and R.D.C. Shoe Company will be working with Honeycutt as primary marketing partners of his entry.

Page Construction has provided exceptional commercial improvement and construction services since 2005, serving customers from coast to coast and is known for its prompt, reliable, and professional service.

R.D.C. Shoe Company is a disabled veteran-owned company that sells Patriotic-designed tennis shoes to support Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, as well as foundations that support our heroes. In every box of shoes, a Medal of Honor recipient card is placed in the box that tells the story of that recipient.

“Thanks to Al Niece and everyone at Niece Motorsports for the opportunity to go racing in top-tier equipment this season,” said Honeycutt. “I’m looking forward to having more time in one of these Chevrolets and competing for an Owner’s Championship with this group.”

After serving as the anchor driver for Sam Hunt Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series last season, Connor Mosack jumps to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to work with Chevrolet and Niece Motorsports.

Mosack, who will also compete full-time in the TransAm TA2 Class, will debut with Niece Motorsports at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the third event of the season.

“I’m excited to join Niece Motorsports this season,” said Mosack. “This is a strong group and I’m thrilled to be a part of it and learn from everyone here. I’m ready to get behind the wheel in Las Vegas and get the season started.”

Additional schedules for Sauter, Mosack, and Honeycutt will be revealed at a later date.
