Joe Graf Jr. – despite failing to qualify for Saturday’s Production Alliance Group 300 in his No. 08 SS Green Light Racing Ford Mustang — will still get the opportunity to compete in the series’ second event of the season at Auto Club Speedway, NASCAR has confirmed.

The 23-year-old will take the green flag aboard the No. 38 RSS Racing Ford Mustang, in place of Timmy Hill, who was able to record the 19th-fastest time in single-car qualifying.

Attempts to speak with Timmy Hill by TobyChristie.com have gone unanswered at the time of publishing.
