Hailie Deegan and the No. 1 David Gilliland Racing team will have a fresh, new look on their Ford F-150 this weekend in the FR8 208 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, as Wastequip will join the team as a primary sponsor.

On Thursday, DGR revealed the new white and blue paint scheme with the Wastequip branding in a Tweet.

Wastequip is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based manufacturer of waste handling equipment. According to it’s website, Wastequip has 38 facilities across North America and employs more than 2,000 people.

Deegan, 20, finished the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season — her rookie campaign — 17th in the championship standings.

Through two races in 2022, Deegan sits 27th in points. She finished 17th in the season-opening race at Daytona, but found misfortune at Las Vegas when she was swept up in a crash on lap 44 of the 134 lap event.

Deegan and the No. 1 team will look for their best finish of the 2022 season this weekend at Atlanta.

The California-native finished 21st in her first-career NCWTS event at Atlanta a year ago, but the race track has undergone a total repave and reprofiling since that race.
