80 Street Stocks Entered for Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol

Officials with Champion Racing Association have revealed the highly anticipated CRA Street Stocks’ Entry List for the Vore’s Welding & Steel Short Track US Nationals The Last Lap Presented by Owosso Speedway for Saturday, April 6th at Bristol Motor Speedway. The event signifies the final Short Track Nationals after is debut in 2017 and brings together the CRA Street Stocks, Vore’s Compact Touring Series, and Wheeler Trucking Midwest Modifieds Tour.

An even 80 cars have been placed on the official entry list for the CRA Street Stocks portion of the Short Track Nationals. A total of 15 different states and the Canadian Province of Ontario are represented in the Entry List, From Michigan to Florida, Connecticut to West Virginia, and Maine to Iowa. Featured on the current entry list is inaugural Short Track US Nationals winner, Chuck Barnes, Jr. The Louisville, KY driver won the first three installments of the event until Brett Hudson earned himself a sword in 2020. Hudson, of Owensboro, KY is also entered to attempt to defend his title as Bristol winner.

Entry List

A few other drivers of note on the current entry list include defending CRA Street Stocks Champion, Dalton Conner. The Greenfield, IN driver never finished outside of the top five in his bid for a championship last season, including wins at Anderson Speedway and Winchester Speedway to name two. He’s joined by other former champions like Colby Lane (2017), Phil Jenkins (2016), Jimmy Kirby (2012), Jeff Lane (2011), former Vore’s CRA Late Model Sportsman winner, Josh Sage, DIRTcar UMP Modified standout Tyler Nicely, and 2021 Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Street Stock Champion, Michael Pannell.

Waitlist

Alongside the current Entry List for the Short Track US Nationals, there is an active waitlist of drivers looking for an opportunity to attend Bristol Motor Speedway on April 6th. Teams who are on the Entry List but are no longer attending can withdraw by Wednesday, March 13th and receive a refund. Withdraws after March 13th will not be refunded. Teams are asked to be considerate of those on the waiting list, and to withdraw as soon as their inability to attend is known.
