Harrison Burton, Noah Gragson, and Sam Mayer were having an incredible battle for third-place, and you knew it was only a matter of time before the three cars came together, after swapping positions so many times over the course of the five-lap stint.

The contact happened at the exit of turn four, when Mayer (No. 8) and Burton (No. 20) made slight contact on the inside line, which shot the Joe Gibbs Racing driver up the track, and into Mayer’s JR Motorsports teammate Noah Gragson, ultimately ending both drivers days.

Sam Mayer was able to continue in the race after the contact, and was looking for a spot inside the top-five.
