Dawson Cram seemingly had a mechanical failure on the exit of turn 2, which caused a massive pileup in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity race at Martinsville.

Cautions breed cautions, but in this latest caution (caution No. 6) of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Call811.com Before You Dig 250, nobody was really at fault. It appeared that on lap 142 Dawson Cram’s No. 07 SS Green Light Racing machine lost power on the exit of turn 2.

As he lost power, Alex Labbe, Leland Honeyman Jr. and Kyle Sieg had nowhere to go and a big multi-car pileup ensued.

Here is a video of the accident involving the four drivers:

Josh Berry, one of the top contenders on the night, who was mired deep in the field after having to make an extra pit stop under caution, barely skirted by the incident on the outside.
