Disclaimer: Austin Cindric – driver of the No. 22 PPG Ford Mustang for Team Penske — is not actually a resident of Indiana.
You know how it is, sometimes after you do something really awesome, you just feel like singing at the top of your lungs for all to hear. After winning his fifth NASCAR Xfinity Series event of the season, I think Cindric deserves to sing a verse or two, and on the cool down lap he did just that.
On top of the singing, the 22-year-old’s song of choice – (Back Home Again in) Indiana — was pretty spot on, considering the owner of Cindric’s No. 22 Ford Mustang, Roger Penske, is also the owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the NTT IndyCar Series, and the song has been played before the Indianpolis 500 since 1946.
SOUND UP to listen to @AustinCindric sing "Back Home Again In Indiana."

Cindric was able to hold-off AJ Allmendinger for his fifth win of the season, as well as extend his points lead to an incredible 82 points, with only five races to go until the series’ seven-race playoffs begin.
