Sam Hunt Racing has announced a new primary sponsorship partner, which will adorn the team’s No. 26 Toyota GR Supra for five races during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Synergy Modular will get the first race of its new partnership this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway with Corey Heim behind the wheel.
According to Justin Stewart, the CEO of Synergy Inc., the introduction of Sam Hunt Racing and Synergy Modular came by way of Tony Priscaro, the founder and president of PK Velocity Sports & Entertainment, which is a sports marketing agency that represents Stewart and Synergy Modular.
“We’re honored and excited to make the leap into the NASCAR Industry with Sam Hunt Racing and to continue growing our company in new markets,” Stewart said. “It’s exciting to make this jump into a new industry with a company we share so many values with like Sam Hunt Racing. Sam and I align in the way we approach and run our respective businesses, creating an opportunity to work together that only made sense.”
According to Sam Hunt, the team owner of Sam Hunt Racing, an alignment between the mission of the race team and the sponsorship partner helped make the partnership a no-brainer.
“It didn’t take long for me to realize the symmetry between Synergy’s mission and core values with those I have at SHR – which has made this adventure organic and fulfilling already,” Hunt said in a team release.
Hunt is hopeful that the Seattle, Washington and Scottsdale, Arizona-based company, which was founded to address the labor shortages and rising costs in the affordable housing market, will forge a multi-year partnership with Sam Hunt Racing that hopefully extends to off of the track.
“Justin [Stewart, CEO of Synergy Inc.] has created a unique culture that thrives to develop, inspire, and lead great people within their industry – which couldn’t be more true to our goals in motorsports,” said Hunt. “We both share a vision to make a positive impact on people – past the boundaries of our respective industries, and we look forward to growing together for years to come on and off the track.”
The remainder of the Synergy Modular sponsorship schedule and driver lineup will be announced at a later date.
The 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season has gotten off to a fast start for the Sam Hunt Racing team, which has scored a top-five finish and two top-10s through the opening nine races of the campaign.
The No. 26 Sam Hunt Racing team sits 19th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Owner’s Championship Standings heading into this weekend’s event at Dover Motor Speedway.
