UPDATE (Wednesday, November 3rd) – On Wednesday Morning, Jordan Anderson Racing officially announced that Myatt Snider will drive full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022, as first reported by TobyChristie.com on Tuesday Night.

“I’m so excited to join Jordan and everyone on the No. 31 team for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season,” Snider said in a release. “Jordan has had a lot of success in a short amount of time building this team. In sitting down with him, I really liked the vision of where he wants to take the team as a whole. You add in Jordan’s partnership with John Bommarito, and all the pieces are here to build something special for the future. I’m proud to call myself a part of this team, it feels like perfect timing.”

Snider will continue a long-standing partnership with TaxSlayer, who will have prominent placement on-board the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro.

“On behalf of everyone at TaxSlayer, I am thrilled to announce our continued support of Myatt Snider for the 2022 NXS season,” TaxSlayer director of strategic partnerships Josh Gaudin said in a release. “We’re excited to join Myatt again following his first win as we race together into the 2022 tax season.”

Anderson is excited about the upcoming season with Snider, saying: “Our entire organization is incredibly proud to be partnering with Myatt and TaxSlayer for the 2022 season. The internal compass and values that were behind starting this team in 2018 align with the like-mindedness of everyone involved and I’m confident that will guide us to on-and-off track success as we all work together towards excellence. I’m grateful that Myatt, TaxSlayer, and all our other partners see the real potential for future growth and development of our team as we continue on this journey together.”

Myatt Snider will have a brand-new home in his third season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, as the 27-year-old will be piloting a full-time entry for Jordan Anderson Racing, a source close to the situation tells TobyChristie.com on the condition of anonymity.

Snider, who currently pilots Richard Childress Racing’s sole entry in the Xfinity Series, will remain within the organization’s umbrella of alliance partners, as the team indicated in a press release early last month. Jordan Anderson Racing currently fields the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro in the second-tier series, with support from RCR, as well as ECR engines.

The Charlotte, North Carolina-native will be replaced by 2020 NCWTS Champion Sheldon Creed, who alongside Austin Hill will complete Richard Childress Racing’s lineup for the 2022 Xfinity Series season.

So far this season, Snider has recorded one victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway, as well as 11 top-10 finishes and his first career berth into the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs, where he currently sits ninth in point standings.

The team’s owner Jordan Anderson has shared the driver’s seat of the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro with Josh Berry, Austin Dillon,  Ty Dillon, Kaz Grala, Erik Jones, Sage Karam, and Tyler Reddick, notching a combined two top-five and six top-10 finishes after not having the necessary owner points to compete in the first 10 events.

Jordan Anderson Racing’s official announcement is expected to happen by the end of the week, and could possibly come as early as Wednesday, as teased in a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday:
