As Alex Labbe embarks on his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the 2024 season, this time in the No. 07 SS-GreenLight Racing Chevrolet Camaro, he’ll have primary sponsorship from Sonoma Aviation. The company is elated to partner with the 31-year-old racer, who hails from Canada.

“As the premier gateway to Sonoma County and Northern California’s Wine Country, Sonoma Aviation is delighted to partner with Alex Labbe and Snow Belt MGMT!” said Sonoma Aviation president Jeremy Epperson. “We’re excited to be part of the team!”

So, what is Sonoma Aviation? They are a company that provides aircraft flight support with Sonoma Jet Center at the Charles M. Schulz Airport, which serves as the Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, CA. The company will feature the Carlsbad Jet Center on the hood of the No. 07 race car and the Sonoma Jet Center on the quarterpanels.

Labbe, the 2017 NASCAR Canada Series champion, has shown an incredible penchant for getting it done on road courses throughout his 153-race NASCAR Xfinity Series career. Of his 13 career top-10 finishes, six of them have come on race tracks that feature right turns in addition to left-handers.

If Labbe can snag another top-10 on Saturday at Sonoma, it’ll definitely bring some great attention to his sponsorship partner. Labbe feels like he’s up for the challenge despite the very technical Sonoma Raceway layout.

“I’m looking forward to racing Sonoma again. It’s a challenging course, but I feel confident going into this weekend that I can not only have a solid qualifying effort but that I will also have a strong finish,” said Labbe. “I’m grateful to Patrick Emerling, Bobby Dotter, everyone at Snow Belt MGMT and my partners at Sonoma Aviation and Gladiator Cargo Nets for making this race possible. I know the guys at SS-GreenLight Racing will bring a fast car.”

Labbe will also carry associate sponsorship this weekend from Gladiator Cargo Nets and Engine Parts Plus.

The tenacious racer finished 26th in his lone NASCAR Xfinity Series start earlier this season at Circuit of the Americas. Labbe piloted the No. 35 Toyota GR Supra for Joey Gase Motorsports in that event.

In 14 starts last season, Labbe scored a best finish of 11th three times, and he recorded six top-15 finishes. He’s certainly capable of delivering another solid finish this weekend at Sonoma for the No. 07 SS-GreenLight Racing team.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 250 at Sonoma Raceway is set for Saturday, June 8 at 8:00 PM ET. FS1 will provide television coverage of the race.
