Australian Supercars legend Shane van Gisbergen burst onto the NASCAR scene in 2023 by winning his debut NASCAR Cup Series event in the inaugural Chicago Street Race.

Heading into the 2024 season, where he will run a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule, and part-time schedules in the NASCAR Xfinity, NASCAR Craftsman Truck, and ARCA Menards Series, SVG has landed a new personal endorsement sponsorship with SafetyCulture.

The driver’s ever-growing popularity made the decision to sponsor SVG an easy one for the $1.7-billion global tech company.

“As a three-time champion and legend of the Australian Supercar scene, there’s no doubt that Shane van Gisbergen will continue to create waves in the NASCAR world. We’re thrilled to partner with him in 2024,” said SafetyCulture’s Founder and CEO, Luke Anear. “Shane’s fan base grows each time he races, so partnering directly with him is an awesome opportunity to help get the word out about SafetyCulture. Many of our customers are already NASCAR fans, and we’re hopeful that with Shane’s endorsement, we’ll reach even more people who can benefit from our technology”.

SafetyCulture, which according to a press release specializes in helping frontline teams find better ways of working, will have its logo featured on van Gisbergen’s driving helmet throughout the 2024 campaign as part of the deal.

The racer is excited to partner with SafetyCulture, and is ready to get the ball rolling on his 2024 stock car racing schedule in the United States.

“I’m excited to be teaming up with SafetyCulture because it’s a company with products that help everyday working people,” van Gisbergen explained. “They’re doing some incredible things on the world’s stage, which is similar to what I’m trying to do with my transition to NASCAR. I think that shared ambition was just something I could relate to.

“This is a massive opportunity and challenge for me coming to NASCAR. I’m looking forward to learning every week and trying to improve. As my experience builds throughout the season hopefully the good results come with it.”

SVG is set to compete in this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event and the ARCA Menards Series event at Daytona International Speedway.

  1. Hey Toby,

Love your content. But please note Van Gisbergen is from New Zealand not Australia, please check your facts.

    Cheers
