Sam Mayer turned 21 years old on Wednesday, and he had a pretty big way of celebrating the big milestone. The driver, who is now of legal drinking age, has forged a new partnership with High Rock Vodka, and the Sugarlands Distilling Co. beverage will serve as Mayer’s primary sponsorship partner at Atlanta Motor Speedway on September 7.

With the partnership, High Rock Vodka will continue its role as the “Official Vodka of JR Motorsports.”

Mayer is thankful for the new primary sponsorship partner, and he will do everything in his power to put Dale and Amy Earnhhardt’s signature line of Vodka in victory lane later this season.

“I am super pumped to have this opportunity to partner with High Rock Vodka and the Sugarlands team now that I am officially 21,” said Mayer in a press release. “I can’t thank Dale, Amy and the High Rock folks enough for all the support and for giving me the chance to put this No. 1 High Rock Vodka Chevrolet in Victory Lane at Atlanta later in the year.”

Mayer, who hails from Franklin, Wisconsin, is a six-time NASCAR Xfinity Series race-winning driver, who has scored two wins already this season. The driver erupted for a four-win campaign last year, which saw the No. 1 JR Motorsports driver reach the Championship 4 for the first time in his young career.

Sugarlands Distilling Co. is elated to partner with an emergin young talent like Mayer.

“Sam is one of the great young stars in NASCAR, and we’re thrilled to join forces with him as he turns 21 and continues to make his mark on the world of racing,” said Patrick Sullivan, Sugarlands chief commercial officer. “Sam’s dedication and passion perfectly align with our company’s values, and we look forward to sharing many High Rock Moments with him and our great partners at JR Motorsports.”

Mayer sits 10th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings, currently, and has seven top-five finishes and eight top-10s in the opening 16 races of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
