Ryan Ellis, who has started a grand total 79 NASCAR National Series events and has served as the PR representative for Go Fas Racing’s No. 32 team over the last few seasons, has secured enough sponsorship to attempt the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the second time in his career.

Friday, Ellis made the announcement on Twitter.

Ellis joins a star-studded field that will be packed with NASCAR names including: Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Ryan Newman, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Chase Briscoe and many more.

In Ellis’ previous attempt at the Chili Bowl in 2015, he failed to make it into the A-Main. He will be looking to get into the big show — which already has more than 340 entries — this year.

The Chili Bowl Nationals will be contested January 13th through the 18th.
