Ross Chastain Earns First Playoff Point of 2020 with Stage One Victory at Dover

Ross Chastain has finally secured his first playoff point of 2020, winning stage one in the second leg of the Drydene Double, by passing pole-sitter Brett Moffitt on a lap twenty-five restart, powering on to his first stage win of the season.

Saturday’s winner Justin Allgaier finished second-place, with Brett Moffitt, Riley Herbst and Noah Gragson rounding out the top-five in stage one.

Brandon Brown – who came into Sunday’s event twenty-seven points ahead of Jeremy Clements on the playoff bubble — earned one point in stage one, while Clements didn’t collect points, finishing 14th in the first stage.
