Riley Herbst Dominates Xfinity Series Qualifying, Bests Field By Nearly Four Tenths at Charlotte

Riley Herbst and Stewart-Haas Racing put down a MONSTER lap time in single-car qualifying at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday Morning, claiming the pole position for Saturday Afternoon’s Alsco Uniforms 300 by a whopping 0.377 seconds, posting a lap time of 29.35 seconds | 183.986mph.

Chase Briscoe – driving for a Stewart-Haas Racing aligned BJ McLeod Motorsports — will start in the runner-up position, with Daniel Hemric, Austin Cindric and AJ Allmendinger rounding out the top-five. Jeremy Clements, Myatt Snider, Ty Gibbs, Jeb Burton and Ty Dillon rounded out the top-10.

Joe Graf Jr, Dillon Bassett, Gray Gaulding, BJ McLeod, Bayley Currey, David Starr and Kyle Weatherman all failed to qualify for the event.
