Lyndon Amick was one of the rising NASCAR stars of the early 2000s. The driver won an ARCA race at Charlotte Motor Speedway while driving for Ken Schrader at the age of 22. All the while he was working his way up the NASCAR National Series ladder.

In 93 starts in what is now the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Amick logged 10 top-10 finishes, despite running for lower tier teams on a part-time basis.

Then in 2003, poof Amick was gone. Where did he go? To serve his country. What has Amick been up to since his racing days? Find out as the Scene Vault Podcast caught up with the now 41-year old in a two-part podcast interview. Rick Houston does a great job of bringing Amick’s story to the listener.
