Nick Leitz, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, is set to compete in back-to-back NASCAR Xfinity Series events for DGM Racing in 2024, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old racer will pilot the No. 92 Chevrolet Camaro in the second and third events of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sponsorship for the effort will come from long-time partner Precision Measurements, Inc.

“I’m really excited to race with family-owned DGM Racing this year,” said Leitz. “Everyone’s hard work on this team shows on and off the track, and the short time we’ve been working together has already been great. These are fast tracks that I’ve never run before, but I know I’m in good hands with this group.”

Precision Measurements, Inc. will begin its eleventh season as a primary partner of Leitz, who has spent the last two years competing part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, accumulating seven career starts with a best finish of 19th, twice.

“The entire DGM Racing team is looking forward to working with Nick,” said Mario Gosselin, owner of DGM Racing. “It’s always great to work with like-minded racers, and Nick’s background is very similar to mine as his family has been instrumental in his racing career. We’re really excited for the opportunity to provide Nick with the support he needs to excel through new experiences and venues.”

Leitz made his Xfinity Series debut last season during the post-season event at Kansas Speedway, driving the No. 38 Ford Mustang for RSS Racing. After being involved in an early-race accident, Leitz finished 31st, six laps off the pace.

The No. 92 Precision Measurements, Inc. Chevrolet Camaro will hit the racetrack at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 24, before returning to the Xfinity Series field the following weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
