After several months of waiting and speculation, NASCAR has finally released the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule. Unchanged for next season is the length of the schedule, maintaining the same 33-race calendar that the second-tier series has had since 2012.

The most substantial change to the schedule for 2025 doesn’t involve the arrangement of events, at all, but rather where to watch the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Last July, NASCAR announced that The CW would have exclusive broadcasting rights to the second-tier series, beginning in 2025.

Daytona International Speedway will once again be the venue for the Xfinity Series season-opener, as it has been since the series was formed in 1982. The 300-mile kick-off to the 2025 season will take place on Saturday, February 15.

To match changes made to the NASCAR Cup Series schedule, Circuit of The Americas (COTA), Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Darlington Raceway will all be undergoing substantial date shifts for 2025, as will Homestead-Miami Speedway, which moves away from its traditional Fall date for a March race weekend.

While NASCAR Cup Series teams are enjoying the one off-weekend they will have in 2025, for Easter Weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be racing at the historic Rockingham Speedway, on April 18-19.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will also add a second new venue in 2025, joining the NASCAR Cup Series at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City in June, as the second-tier series returns to the venue (albeit a renovated version) for the first time since 2008.

Portland International Speedway, which has traditionally lined up with the NASCAR Cup Series date at World Wide Technology Raceway, will also shift to later in the season, as the penultimate event of the regular season.

The regular season will end with the Xfinity Series making its first trip to World Wide Technology Raceway since 2010, before the second-tier series attacks the post-season, which features no major changes, with the exception of Darlington being the middle race in the Round of 8.

The season-finale will continue to be held at Phoenix Raceway, on Saturday, November 1.

Lost in the shuffling of dates is a pair of popular short tracks. Richmond Raceway will not be on the Xfinity Series schedule in 2025, marking the first time the second-tier series will not make a stop at the three-quarter-mile facility.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway also won’t be on the second-tier series’ schedule in 2025, the first time since 1989 that the 1.058-mile racetrack won’t host the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
