When Myatt Snider heads to the race track each weekend, he faces a set of circumstances that any driver would consider to be challenging, much less a rookie driver trying to find his bearings in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Through eight races in 2020, Snider has competed for two organizations, driving the No. 21 for Richard Childress Racing, and the No. 93 for RSS Racing.

Alongside the challenges of switching back and forth between two teams, Snider has had the additional challenge of having to work with three different crew chiefs through eight events this season.

While Andy Street is the designated crew chief for Richard Childress Racing’s No. 21 team, Kevyn Rebolledo and Jeff Green have been shuffling crew chief duties throughout the season.

With these challenges in mind, Snider knew 2020 was going to be a season dedicated to learning, without the additional pressure that a full schedule brings, in terms of trying to make the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs.

Now, that has all changed.

With the help of longtime supporters TaxSlayer, Superior Essex and Louisiana Hot Sauce, Snider, the 25-year old from Charlotte, North Carolina will be able to contest all 33 NASCAR Xfinity Series events, continuing to split the schedule between Richard Childress Racing and RSS Racing.

Entering the Homestead-Miami doubleheader this weekend, Snider sits 15th in series standings, 46 points behind playoff bubble driver Michael Annett.

Through eight races this season, Snider has notched a top-five finish, along with two top-tens and five top-twenties.

Snider’s best finish for Richard Childress Racing was a fifth place result at Bristol Motor Speedway, while his best result for RSS Racing came at Auto Club Speedway, notching a eleventh place finish.

Despite some amazing runs and finishes this season, Snider has been lacking a consistent rhythm in the series, having not run more than two consecutive races for one organization prior to this weekends doubleheader at Homestead.

At this time there is no official schedule posted for Myatt Snider, in terms of which races he will run with each race team, but Snider will be in a RSS Racing car this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, as well as next weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.
