Mason Massey, a long-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has been tapped by Alpha Prime Racing to run a partial Xfinity Series schedule in 2025.
The native of Douglasville, Georgia will get behind the wheel of the organization’s third entry, the No. 45 Chevrolet, in a total of 11 NASCAR Xfinity Series events throughout the series’ 33-race campaign.
BRUNT Workwear, a long-time supporter of Massey’s efforts in NASCAR’s National Series, is set to return as an anchor sponsor of the effort.
“Super excited to be a part of this program,” Massey said on social media. “Tommy Joe Martins and everyone at Alpha Prime Racing are building special. Big thanks to them and BRUNT Workwear for the opportunity.”

Since first breaking onto the scene in 2019, Massey has amassed 55 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and another 30 starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
While competing in the second-tier series, Massey has recorded three finishes inside the top-10, including a career-best sixth at Atlanta Motor Speedway with DGM Racing in 2022.
The driver’s other two top-10 results both came at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, one with DGM Racing in 2022, and another the following season with SS-GreenLight Racing.
Last season, Massey competed in the majority of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule with Young’s Motorsports, driving the No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado.
At this time, no schedule of events has been confirmed for Massey in the Alpha Prime Racing No. 45 Chevrolet.
The 27-year-old driver joins a driver lineup for Alpha Prime Racing that includes full-timers Parker Retzlaff (No. 4) and Brennan Poole (No. 44), as well as part-time drivers Caesar Bacarella and Brad Perez, who will both take turns behind the wheel of the No. 45.
