Jason White will return to NASCAR competition for the first-time in 2014, joining RSS Racing in the No. 23 A-GAME Ford Mustang at Daytona International Speedway. A representative from the team confirmed to TobyChristie.com that White is only scheduled to run the season-opener at Daytona.
White is a veteran of the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, combining for a total of 207 starts between the two series, along with a pair of starts at NASCAR’s top-level. The 41-year-old also currently serves as the director of motorsports for CMR Roofing, the full-season sponsor of the organization’s No. 39 Ford Mustang.
Sponsorship for the No. 23 Ford Mustang will come from former MLB star Johnny Damon and his beverage company A-Game, an innovative, hydra formulate that refuels, rehydrates and re energizes the body and mind. A-Game provides eight essential vitamins, electrolytes, minerals and nutrients to keep the body at peak performance, without the need for any artificial flavors, sweetener, or dyes.
“I’m super excited to return to the driver seat at my favorite track and have my good friend Johnny Damon and his company A-GAME on board.” commented driver Jason White. “This is a dream combination driving for the Sieg’s and having Roush Yates power at Daytona.”
White has scored a pair of top-five runs at the 2.5-mile superspeedway, piloting the No. 23 for Steve Urvan in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The Virginia-native’s earned his sole top-10 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Talladega Superspeedway.
“NASCAR is a great platform to get the word out about this incredible beverage.” commented two-time world series champion Damon. “I have been good friends with Jason for many years and I can’t think of a better guy to represent A-GAME.”
