The impressive season for John Hunter Nemechek, and the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing team continued in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Nemechek took the lead on the final restart of the race and led the final seven laps en route to his seventh victory of the 2023 season.

NASCAR confirmed Nemechek and the No. 20 team as the official winners of the race following post-race inspection after the event. No issues, aside from an unsecured lug nut on the No. 18 car were detected in post-race tech, which means all results and standings following the event are now considered official.

Nemechek is now a nine-time race winner over the course of his NASCAR Xfinity Series career, and he is up to 22 career wins in the NASCAR National Series ranks.

Parker Kligerman was the official runner-up finisher of the race, and he came in ahead of the Smiths — Sammy and Chandler — who finished third and fourth. Justin Allgaier, who started from the pole, won both Stages, and led 133 laps on the day, came home in fifth.
