Harrison Burton, who spent the last three seasons as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series competition, is set to step back to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025 with AM Racing, which will shift the car No. of its Ford Mustang Dark Horse from 15 to 25. Along with the number change, AM Racing announced a new primary sponsorship partner for the 24-year-old racer on Friday.

Dead On Tools will partner with Burton and the AM Racing team for a 10-race primary sponsorship schedule in 2025.

“Here at Dead On Tools, we are always looking to push the boundaries of innovation and excitement,” said Brian Ranallo, Director of Sales & Marketing for Dead On Tools. “Harrison not only matches that energy, but he excels on and off the track. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Harrison and AM Racing for the 2025 season and looking forward to many trips to Victory Lane!”

Burton, likewise, is excited about the pairing.

“I am stoked about this partnership with Dead On Tools this season,” said Burton in a team press release. “Everyone has worked extremely hard this offseason to prepare for this year’s NASCAR Xfinity Series season. With their support, we believe we have all the tools we need — both on and off the track — to succeed. Their commitment to excellence matches the passion and determination of our team, and we’re ready to make this a season to remember.”

The brand will make its debut in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway and will return at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Chicago Street Course, Gateway, Las Vegas in the Fall, Martinsville in the Fall, and the season finale at Phoenix.

AM Racing showed off the paint scheme that Burton will utilize in that 10-race commitment:

The AM Racing team, which suffered through a rough 2024 campaign, has been putting in effort at the shop for a turnaround 2025 season with Burton behind the wheel.

“It’s been an extremely productive offseason. We’ve made changes that we believe will make the 2025 season a year to remember. I’m incredibly proud of our entire team,” Wade Moore, president of AM Racing said. “We are thrilled about the addition of Harrison and AM Racing is grateful to kick off our new relationship in Daytona with an anchor partner like Dead On Tools, who continues to increase its support and dedication to the sport.”

Burton, the son of NASCAR Hall of Fame Nominee Jeff Burton, picked up the 100th win for the iconic Wood Brothers Racing team last year at Daytona International Speedway, which secured the driver his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series Playoff berth.

Prior to moving to the NASCAR Cup Series, Burton was a four-time race winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and he finished eighth in the championship standings in 2020 and 2021. Overall, Burton has 26 top-fives and 49 top-10 finishes in 75 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series heading into the 2025 campaign.
