NASCAR Xfinity DFS Bristol

NASCAR Xfinity DFS Bristol. The second feature of the Bristol triple header is highlighted by the NASCAR Xfinity Series regular-season finale on Friday night. The Garage Guys are here to give you the best Bristol bets and DFS plays on Friday night.

The Xfinity postseason begins next week at Las Vegas, but a regular-season championship is to be determined on Friday night along with 12 total drivers advancing into the playoffs. AJ Allmendinger leads Austin Cindric by 5 points heading into the finale. Any driver outside the Top 12 in points must win in order to secure a last gasp at a playoff spot. Noah Gragson just went back-to-back winning at Darlington two weeks ago and then Richmond last week.

As good as the Xfinity Series is when it comes to the racing product and driving talent on display, their playoff race is the least intriguing in my opinion. The gap between the Top 10-12 drivers and the rest of the field is enormous, so the race for the final spots is typically anticlimactic.

The action on track, however, is expected to be very climactic. Bristol is very well known for many instant classics, and I expect nothing less this weekend. It’s gonna be a blast to compete in NASCAR Xfinity DFS at Bristol.

Don’t waste your retirement fund betting on football. You heard it here first. Let’s get right into it.

NASCAR Xfinity DFS Bristol Picks for DraftKings

Austin Cindric: #22 Penske Racing Ford – $11,200

Cindric is due.

The principle is the same as what I think about John Hunter Nemechek in the Truck series. Cindric has been super quiet as of recent with three finishes outside the Top 15 in his last four races. He has not visited victory lane since Indianapolis right around a month ago.

Cindric has three Top 6 finishes in his last four races at Bristol. The program that Penske brings to the shorter tracks in the Xfinity Series has been stout all year long. Cindric rolls off from P9 on Friday night, and I think he will be in the conversation to lead laps and contend for the victory.

Justin Allgaier: #7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $10,800

Yep; I’m probably stacking Cindric and Allgaier in many lineups. Justin Allgaier has only one Bristol win dating back to 2010, but his stats as of recent are absolutely remarkable at Bristol.

In his last four races at Bristol has led an astounding 551 laps. 551! He’s literally averaging almost 138 laps led per race. With the race being 300 laps long, this is an important metric this weekend. The craziest part about that stat, however, is that he didn’t win any of those four races. Bad luck, getting wrecked, car fading at the end; he has seen it all in the past two years.

This year has been different. Allgaier has been more of a closer this year and a strong threat for the title once again. Nonetheless, his capabilities here are undeniable. He starts 2nd, and with good track position could be en route to lead the way and capture that elusive 2nd Bristol win.

Sam Mayer: #8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet – $9,900

There’s just those guys who are good at Bristol. I think Sam Mayer is gonna be one of those guys. In only his fourth start of the 2020 Truck series campaign as a 17-year-old,  he captured his first win at Bristol around a year ago.

Mayer starts 22nd in a strong JR Motorsports entry and ran very well last week at Richmond with lesser equipment. Ty Gibbs is gonna be good on Friday, and he’s the young prodigy, but Mayer has the potential to compete with him. I think Mayer is a solid dark horse to win and will run in the Top 5 on Friday night.

BJ McLeod: #15 JD Motorsports Chevrolet – $7,200

There are many solid punt plays for this race, but I really like the legend himself, BJ. I like Earnhardt and Finchum as alternatives, but BJ trumps them all. BJ is priced considerably higher but is absolutely worth the extra coin.

Starting P37 in a ride that Colby Howard piloted to some solid finishes over the past couple of seasons, BJ is a talented guy who had 20 Top 25 finishes in 31 starts in 2020. Most of those starts were with JD Motorsports.

In three starts this season with DGM, BJ has no finish worse than 26th. In 10 Bristol Xfinity starts, McLeod has 7 finishes inside the Top 26 and 5 finishes inside the Top 20. It might be a long shot, but I really think BJ has the potential to run in the Top 10 on Friday night.
