The No. 22 Team Penske Mustang of defending Xfinity Series champion Austin Cindric will get a bold new look for multiple races this season in his effort to defend his championship title.

CarShop, a global online used car buying experience, will join Cindric and Team Penske for the 2021 season, starting at Phoenix this weekend and the Call 811 Before You Dig 200.

CarShop, originally based in the United Kingdom, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Penske Automotive Group. The company became a global brand in early March of this year after adopting the CarSense brand in the United States.

“We are excited to partner with Team Penske as we expand the CarShop brand globally and transform the used-car buying experience into something fun, easy and exciting,” said Tracy Cassady, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Penske Automotive Group. “Whether shopping hassle-free in our stores, or online with our innovative online buying tools, customers can confidently and comfortably buy their dream car from virtually anywhere. We look forward to a great season with Austin (Cindric) racing the No. 22 CarShop Ford in 2021.”

The 22-year-old Xfinity Series champion is already locked into the Playoffs thanks to his season-opening win at Daytona in February. He became the first defending series champion since 1997 to win the season opener following his championship. Leading the points now, Cindric will return to the track that gave him his first title and a sure favorite to win.

“It’s a great opportunity to welcome a new brand to our sport and I’m excited to represent Penske Automotive Group and carry the CarShop colors on our No. 22 Ford for some of our biggest races this season,” said Cindric. “CarShop offers a unique car buying experience and we hope to deliver some strong results in the CarShop Mustang in 2021.”

Fans can see the No.22 CarShop Mustang hit the track for the first time this weekend in Phoenix. Coverage begins at 5:30 PM EST on FOX Sports 1 and the FOX Sports App.
