Alpha Prime Racing (APR) will be bringing Brennan Poole back into the fold for a third consecutive season in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, the organization confirmed on Tuesday.
The native of The Woodlands, Texas, will be continuing his tenure as the driver of the No. 44 for the organization co-owned by Tommy Joe Martins and Caesar Bacarella, in which he’s put together stunning numbers in 2024 and 2025.
“[Brennan Poole] is the best driver we’ve ever had,” said Tommy Joe Martins, co-owner and President of Alpha Prime Racing. “Getting this done was priority one for us.”
In a pair of seasons behind the wheel of the No. 44 for Alpha Prime Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity (O’Reilly Auto Parts) Series, Poole has been able to amass three top-five finishes and seven top-10s.
This past season was especially strong for the 34-year-old driver, who picked up a pair of top-five results this season, one at Martinsville Speedway and another at Rockingham Speedway. The Easter Weekend event at Rockingham marked the first time that Alpha Prime Racing had placed multiple entries inside the top-five, with Parker Retzlaff in second and Brennan Poole in fourth.
In addition to several strong results throughout the 33-race campaign in 2025, Poole was able to keep the No. 44 consistently fighting for a position inside the top-20. Boasting an impressive average finish of 19.4, Poole was able to break the 600-point barrier and score the most points ever for an Alpha Prime Racing driver, while also securing a spot in the top-20 in Owner’s Points for a second straight year.
Poole is the first driver to be confirmed as part of the Alpha Prime Racing driver lineup for the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series campaign. Parker Retzlaff, who drove the No. 4 Chevrolet in 2025, has already confirmed his departure, as well as a new ride at Viking Motorsports.
At the end of October, Alpha Prime Racing co-owner Caesar Bacarella confirmed, during an appearance on The Motor Stardom Show, that the team had yet to secure any of its drivers for the 2026 campaign. With Poole signed, the organization will now be on the hunt to fill its remaining two entries in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
Additional details regarding Poole’s 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series campaign at Alpha Prime Racing, including sponsorship and team leadership, will be confirmed at a later date.
The 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series campaign will begin with the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 14 at 5:00 PM ET on The CW, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
