Brenden Queen, the newly-crowned champion of the ARCA Menards Series, will be finishing out the NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign driving for Kaulig Racing, the organization confirmed on Monday.
Queen, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 11 Chevrolet, starting with this weekend’s United Rentals 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.
The former champion of the zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car Division will then tackle the half-mile paperclip of Martinsville Speedway (October 25) and the NASCAR Xfinity Series season-finale at the one-mile Phoenix Raceway (November 1).
“Ready to cap off a great year with the No. 11 team. Can’t thank Kaulig Racing enough for the opportunity,” Queen said in a social media post on Monday.
The 27-year-old driver was successful in rising to mainstream prominence through his performance in local-level short track racing, getting an opportunity in 2025 to compete for the ARCA Menards Series championship with Pinnacle Racing Group — where he collected eight victories and secured the championship by a large margin.
Saturday’s event at Talladega Superspeedway will mark the second time Queen has competed at the 2.66-mile superspeedway in Alabama, having run at the racetrack with the ARCA Menards Series earlier this year, finishing 25th.
In his most recent start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Kansas Speedway, Queen was able to put up some impressive numbers while driving for Kaulig Racing, starting the race fourth and earning his first career top-10, finishing ninth.
Queen is one of multiple drivers who have gotten the nod to serve as the interim driver of the No. 11 Chevrolet, after Josh Williams was released from the organization following the series’ trip to Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July.
Carson Hocevar, Michael McDowell, Justin Haley, Will Brown, Daniel Hemric, and Brenden Queen have all taken turns behind the wheel of the No. 11 Chevrolet throughout the final 12 events of the season, scoring three top-10 finishes.
