In what was shaping up to be a wild finish in Saturday’s Xfinity race at Mid-Ohio, a pair of Supras decided to add their own chaotic flair to the ending.

Heading into Turn 9 on lap 73, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Brandon Jones appeared to hop the inside curve and get into Sam Hunt Racing’s Kris Wright.

The ensuing contact caused Wright to spin back into traffic and making contact with multiple cars including Alex Labbe and Kyle Weatherman.

Josh Berry, in his first Xfinity road course start, narrowly missed the wreck.

The wreck would retire the No. 26, marking the third straight race with a DNF. It also is the fourth consecutive race with a finish outside the top 30 for Sam Hunt Racing.

Brandon Jones and Weatherman were able to continue.
