Austin Cindric Takes Stage Win in Crash-Filled Stage 1 of Xfinity Race at Pocono

Austin Cindric took the win in Stage 1 of Sunday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Pocono Green 225 at Pocono Raceway, but the real story was the amount of crashes that piled up in the opening Stage of the race.

In all, there were four cautions — one that resulted in a 21 minute red flag — for incidents.

Behind Cindric were Ross Chastain and Justin Allgaier in second and third.

Myatt Snider and Michael Annett capped off the top-five in the Stage.

Chase Briscoe, Noah Gragson, Riley Herbst, Justin Haley and Daniel Hemric rounded out the top-10 in Stage 1.

Those who are officially out after being swept up in big crashes are: Brandon Jones, Joe Grad Jr., Josh Williams and Harrison Burton.
