Austin Cindric came into Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Drydene 200 at Dover International Speedway having won five of the last six races in the Series, through Stage 1 of Saturday’s race, it looks like he’s a good bet to become the first driver in Series history to ever win six out of seven.
Cindric started first and led all 45 laps of the opening Stage of the race.
While Cindric continued his dominating ways, Noah Gragson was right in his wake all Stage lone and ended Stage 1 just 1 second behind Cindric.
Justin Allgaier, Ross Chastain and Harrison Burton capped off the top-five finishers in Stage 1.
Riley Herbst, Brandon Jones, Chase Briscoe, Michael Annett and Ryan Sieg rounded out the top-10.
It was a clean stage, as the only caution was a scheduled competition caution, which came at lap 21.
