On Friday Evening, Alex Labbe and DGM Racing announced the addition of six Canadian companies to the organization’s sponsorship program for the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

Rousseau Métal, Prolon Controls, Groupe Brière International, Globocam, MR Drywall and Excavations C.A.T. will combine to sponsor Alex Labbe and the DGM Racing No. 36 Chevrolet Camaro in an additional 12 events this season, ensuring that Labbe will be behind the wheel of the entry for a half season.

“I am very proud of the Canadian companies who have stepped up to help Alex make his mark in the American stock car industry. In racing, money equals speed, and even for a talented driver like Alex Labbé, funding remains a challenge every year,” says Martin D’Anjou, President of Festidrag Development. “We are constantly seeking partners and welcome those who wish to help us reach the finish line of the NXS.”

In 2020, Labbé performed particularly well on the road courses – which the series will feature more of in 2021. The St. Albert, Quebec-native earned a career-best and team-best fourth-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s “ROVAL” last October.

For 2021, Festidrag Development’s partners chose to invest in the road courses to capitalize on Labbé’s talents, with hopes of a strong finish attracting additional partners, allowing him to compete full-time in 2021.

Festidrag Development’s partners will adorn the No. 36 Chevrolet Camaro at Daytona (February 13), Daytona’s Road Course (February 20th), Homestead (February 27th), Talladega (April 24th), Mid-Ohio (June 5th), New Hampshire (July 17th), Watkins Glen (August 7th), Indianapolis’ Road Course (August 14th), Bristol (September 17th), Charlotte “ROVAL” (October 9th), Martinsville (October 30th), Phoenix (November 6th).
