The day will meet an early end for Stewart Friesen and Halmar Friesen Racing, after contact from Carson Hocevar sent the No. 52 Halmar International Toyota Tundra into the inside wall with significant force.

While Hocevar would be able to continue in the event, Friesen would take his truck to the garage and earn a 35th-place finish for his team at Texas Motor Speedway.
