Ty Majeski has been on the NASCAR radar for a few years now, and has caught the eye of several great judges of talent such as Mark Martin and Jack Roush along the way. However, the 24-year old who was a late model standout, just hasn’t had the luck in the stock car ranks, until Thursday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway that is.

Majeski kept his nose clean all race long and was ready to pounce in the closing laps of the 109 lap race.

In the end, the development driver held off some pretty stiff competition for the win including Sheldon Creed, Gus Dean, Harrison Burton and Michael Self — who had dominated the race from the pole.

This win came in the heart of NASCAR country and it happened in front of all of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Owners, not a bad time to claim your first win.

Majeski will hope to parlay this win into more opportunities, as he was just scheduled to run five races in ARCA competition this season.
