Saturday Afternoon’s Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Talladega Superspeedway will mark the return of 41-year-old Willie Allen, according to a preliminary entry list released by NASCAR on Monday. Allen, who now co-owns Rackley W.A.R. alongside Curtis Sutton will take on both owner and driver duties on the No. 25 Rackley Roofing entry in the series’ annual trip to the 2.66-mile superspeedway.

The Bon Aqua, Tennessee-native last competed in NASCAR’s top-three series in May 2014, when he piloted the No. 0 for Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing finishing 32nd. Through his decade-long tenure in NASCAR, Allen picked up a pair of sixth-place finishes in the NASCAR Truck Series, most recently in the 2007 edition of Saturday’s event, piloting the No. 13 for ThorSport Racing.

TobyChristie.com’s attempts to contact Rackley W.A.R. in order to seek confirmation of Allen’s return to NASCAR have gone unanswered at this time. If / when a confirmation is received, the story will be updated with any and all new information.
