Will Rodgers will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2022, announcing on Wednesday that he’ll join Reaume Brothers Racing for a partial schedule in the two series.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to work with Josh Raume and plan select races early in 2022,” Rodgers said in a team release. “With a mix of ovals and road courses, this could be a significant development experience for both the team and me.”

Rodgers, 27, will make his first start of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season at Auto Club Speedway (February 26), with plans to return to the series’ event at Circuit of The Americas (March 26).

“Although my original plans for this year have been altered, having races to build off of for the future is all I could ask for, and I plan to help maximize our efforts as a team, continued Rodgers. “It’s a blessing to have my long-time sponsor, Kelly Benefits, ride on board with us at Fontana and possibly other races later in the year. This group has been with me through thick and thin, but they continue to believe in our potential together, and I’m proud to call them family.”

In addition to his two planned starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Rodgers will also compete for Reaume Brothers Racing in two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events at Circuit of The Americas (March 26) and Sonoma Raceway (June 11).

“Will is an incredibly talented road racer and has shown a lot of ability on oval tracks as well,” said team owner, Josh Reaume. “As we continue to build this race team, it is imperative that we put talented drivers such as Will behind the wheel. We believe in Will and are committed to seeing him running as many races as possible this year in both our Trucks and Xfinity car.”

Rodgers competed for Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Truck Series season-finale at Phoenix Raceway, recording a solid 22nd-place result for the No. 34 team. Additional races for Rodgers’ 2022 schedule will be announced at a later date.
