Video: Kyle Larson Spins at Homestead While Battling for Lead

Kyle Larson went for a bit of a wild ride in Friday night’s Baptist Health 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but it was a ride that did not take him out of contention. Larson was battling for the race lead with Layne Riggs, after the pair had just passed Ross Chastain.

Larson’s No. 07 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado got loose, and the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion made contact with the side of Rigg’s No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford F-150. That contact sent Larson spinning in Turn 1.

Despite going around at the front of the field, Larson did not make contact with any walls or other trucks and was able to continue on in the event, and will look to rally his way back through the field for a chance at the win.
