MBM Motorsports and Tyler Tomassi are set to renew their partnership for the upcoming 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign, beginning with the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

Tomassi, a native of West Greenwich, Rhode Island, will get behind the wheel of the MBM Motorsports-owned No. 69 Ford F-150 in the February 13 event at the 2.5-mile superspeedway located in Daytona Beach, Florida.

“Racing at Daytona is an absolute dream come true for any race car driver, and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to race at this historic track,” said Tyler Tomassi. “After our pace at Talladega, I have every reason to believe that we will be competitive. I want to thank Carl Long for his continued belief in me, as well as my family, friends, and supporters. See you at Daytona!”

The 22-year-old driver made his first drafting track start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series last October at Talladega Superspeedway, driving for MBM. While piloting the No. 69 Ford F-150, Tomassi stayed in the lead draft all afternoon until a cut left-rear tire under green-flag conditions forced an unscheduled green-flag stop.

Tomassi has amassed nine total starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series over the last two seasons, competing for a variety of organizations, including Reaume Brothers Racing and Young’s Motorsports — collecting a career-best finish of 21st-place at Bristol Motor Speedway in the Spring of 2025 with RBR.

“Tyler experienced many firsts with our team in 2025: his first 2.5-mile track, his first road course, his first superspeedway,” said Carl Long, owner of MBM Motorsports. “As a team, it is rewarding to provide a platform for young drivers to learn the ropes of NASCAR and assist their improvement behind the wheel. Tyler had top-10 speed in his truck when that cut tire trapped up laps down at Talladega. We are excited to give him another chance to bring home a top-10.”

MBM Motorsports revived its NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series program for the first time in several years this past season, fielding the No. 69 Ford F-150 in six events for various drivers, including Tyler Tomassi, Derek White, and long-time NASCAR Cup Series driver Casey Mears. In six starts, White recorded the best finish for the team, finishing 19th at Watkins Glen.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway will take place on Friday, February 13, at 7:30 PM ET. Coverage of the event will be on FOX Sports 1, NASCAR Radio Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
