18-year old Tyler Ankrum scored the first victory of his NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Ankrum lost the lead late in the final stage due to pit strategy, but turns out his strategy was the winning one as he had the gas to make it to the finish.

Brett Moffitt had the lead until two to go, then his tank ran dry on the backstretch. Ankrum went by and went on to burn the tires to the ground after taking the checkered flag.

Ankrum led 40 laps on the night.

Stewart Friesen, who had his primary truck confiscated earlier in the day, wound up second in his backup truck.

Harrison Burton rebounded from a spin to finish third. Ross Chastain finished fourth, and Dylan Lupton rounded out the top-five finishers.

Austin Wayne Self finished sixth, while Moffitt ended up seventh after running out of fuel.

Spencer Davis, Jeb Burton and Matt Crafton were the rest of the top-10 finishers.

Sheldon Creed won Stage 1, while Crafton took Stage 2.
