For the second time in three races, Stefan Parsons has been tapped to compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, this time driving the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports in the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.

The 24-year-old will be pulling double-duty for the first time in his NASCAR National Series career, as he’ll also compete in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event for Alpha Prime Racing, driving the No. 45.

Friday’s 200-mile contest from Nashville Superspeedway will mark the seventh start in the NASCAR Truck Series for Parsons, in which he’s recorded a best finish of 17th, in his series debut at Bristol in 2018.

The Cornelius, North Carolina-native has attempted to qualify for 13 of the 14 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts this season, splitting the year between Alpha Prime Racing and BJ McLeod Motorsports, with a season-best finish of 17th.

Young’s Motorsports’ No. 20 enters Nashville 33rd in Owner Points, meaning – with six trucks set to DNQ — Parsons will need to put down a time inside the top-31 to make the field for Friday’s Rackley Roofing 200.
