In an event that was reduced to utter choas in the second-half, GMS Racing’s Sheldon Creed brought home his fourth career NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series victory at Texas Motor Speedway, leading 131 of 152 laps en-route to a guaranteed spot in the championship four race at Phoenix Raceway.

Austin Hill – who made a number of late pushes to try and get by Creed — finished 2nd, with Zane Smith, Raphael Lessard and Brett Moffitt rounding out the top-five finishers in Sunday Afternoon’s SpeedyCash.com 400.

Sunday’s race had major implications on the championship picture, as Grant Enfinger experienced a mechanical issue on lap 93 of the event, relegating him to a 32nd-place finish and placing him in a must-win situation entering Martinsville.

Enfinger’s teammate Ben Rhodes was also a hot topic of conversation in Sunday’s SpeedyCash.com 400, as the Louisville, Kentucky-native appeared to right-rear the No. 18 of Christian Eckes into the outside wall on lap 146, ending the day for the Kyle Busch Motorsports driver. Rhodes would finish in 20th, after a last-lap incident sent him and Josh Bilicki into the outside wall, after alleged contact from Eckes’ teammate Chandler Smith.

The race featured a total of ten caution flags, the second-highest number of yellow flags in a NASCAR Truck Series event this season.
