Report: World Wide Technology to Take Over Naming Rights of Gateway

UPDATE 11:30am ET: Gateway Motorsports Park has made the news official via Twitter that they are now World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

World Wide Technology has dipped it’s toe into NASCAR over the last couple of seasons as a sponsor of Bubba Wallace and the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports team.

Now, according to a report from Adam Stern of the Sports Business Journal, it looks like the company is on it’s way to being the naming rights sponsor of Gateway Raceway and the track is expected to now be named World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

World Wide Technology is a company that was founded in 1990 and provides technology and supply chain services to the enterprise commercial, personal and telecom service provider sectors.

Gateway Raceway hosts one NASCAR Gander outdoors Truck Series race each year as well as a race for the IndyCar Series and NHRA as well.
