Polkadot will further expand upon its relationship with NTT IndyCar Series driver Conor Daly, as the Indiana-native returns to Niece Motorsports for a pair of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events at Kansas Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway
Launched in 2020 by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood, Polkadot is a digital platform designed to build a more inclusive and transparent internet, where power and decision-making are in the hands of its users.
The company utilizes a public governance platform to empower its community of 1.3 million members to directly control all steps of the decision-making process, even when it comes to the largest global marketing initiatives.
“We’re excited to extend our partnership with Conor Daly and showcase Polkadot’s brand on his No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado RST,” said Chris Wade, former Polkadot Head Ambassador for North America. “Our collaboration has already made a significant impact, from the Indy 500 to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and we’re eager to continue that momentum. Representing Polkadot in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, Conor will continue to share our vision for a more inclusive internet with a national audience. It’s an exciting time for both racing fans and our community.”
Last month, Daly was tapped by Juncos-Hollinger Racing to finish the 2024 NTT IndyCar Series campaign in the No. 78 Chevrolet. The Noblesville, Indiana native scored a podium finish in the first leg of a doubleheader at The Milwaukee Mile and will run the IndyCar finale at Nashville Superspeedway before preparing for the remainder of his Truck Series schedule.
Daly returned to the NASCAR Truck Series earlier this year at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado, a fourth entry for Niece Motorsports, where he finished 29th. This season is the first time Daly has made multiple Truck Series starts in a single year.
“I’m obviously very excited to get back in the No. 44 truck with Niece Motorsports,” said Daly. “We had great momentum going before we lost the tire at IRP, and I’m excited to get back with a new track at Kansas. I’ve always seen great races there and I know the team has been good there in the past. To bring Polkadot to the NASCAR Truck Series is very special for us as we’ve had some incredible runs in Polkadot colors at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. So, I’m very happy to represent the Polkadot community once again and get back to learning something new in the trucks.”
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will visit Kansas Speedway on Friday, September 27 for the Kubota Tractor 200, the final race in the Round of 10 for the NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs. Homestead-Miami Speedway will come a month later, much deeper into the post-season.
Both events will be broadcast on FS1.
