The National Motorsports Appeals Panel (NMAP) has upheld the disqualification for Parker Kligerman and Henderson Motorsports, after hearing the team’s appeal on Thursday.

In a statement, the three-person appeals panel consisting of Bill Mullis, Kevin Whitaker, and Tommy Wheeler, had the following to say regarding the decision:

“The panel confirms it is more likely than not a rules violation did occur and the disqualification penalties in Rule 10.5.2.4 necessitate a race disqualification.”

Kligerman, driver of the No. 75 Big Machine Spiked Coolers Chevrolet Silverado, was disqualified following last Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Daytona International Speedway, after it was found that the entry was too low on both sides.

After post-race inspection was completed, and the issue was noted, Kligerman was stripped of his victory in the Fresh From Florida 250, awarding the win to Corey Heim and TRICON Garage.

The adjusted results from Friday’s event at Daytona are now deemed official, with Gio Ruggiero, Ty Majeski, Grant Enfinger, and Justin Haley completing the top five.

Chandler Smith, Daniel Hemric, Jason White, William Sawalich, and Frankie Muniz will all retain their top-10 results from the season opener.
