Nathan Byrd and Stefan Parsons have both been tapped by Young’s Motorsports to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025.
Byrd, who joined forces with the organization in the final events of last season, will compete in at least 15 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in the team’s flagship No. 02 Chevrolet.
The 25-year-old is scheduled to compete in the opening nine NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events of the season, from Daytona International Speedway (February 14) through Kansas Speedway in May, before returning to the racetrack at Nashville Superspeedway.
“Getting the opportunity to run a much bigger NASCAR Truck schedule in 2025 with Young’s Motorsports is a true blessing,” said Byrd. “They’re a great team of hard-working men and women, and I’m confident that as I get more comfortable and experienced in the truck, we can make significant progress together. None of this is possible without the hard work and dedication of many. I’m looking forward to Daytona in a couple of weeks.”
Additionally, the organization confirmed that Stefan Parsons would pilot the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado, a second-truck program, throughout the 2025 season.
The 26-year-old driver returns to Young’s Motorsports on the heels of a fantastic season, which included three top-10 finishes driving the No. 75 Chevrolet for Henderson Motorsports.
Between the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Parsons made a total of four starts for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
“We’ve been working hard throughout the offseason on our Truck Series program,” said Young. “The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series has been a staple of our story since our inception, and we’d like nothing more to continue to make positive memories and put Nathan (Byrd) and Stefan (Parsons) in a position to contend for wins and strong performances throughout the season.”
A full schedule of events for Stefan Parsons in the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado will be announced at a later date.
Both Byrd and Parsons will be competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series open test at Rockingham Speedway on January 28.
