On Wednesday Night, Natalie Decker posted a video to Instagram to provide an update about her health and racing.

Decker has not been medically cleared to participate in the NASCAR Truck Series at this time, after missing the last two events at Las Vegas and Talladega.

Upon going to the infield care center at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Decker was found to have an abnormally high blood pressure as well as an increased heart rate, preventing her from being medically cleared to race.

According to Decker, upon arriving at home doctors ordered numerous tests and “all those scary things have been ruled out”, but doctors have yet to figure out what is causing the high blood pressure and increased heart rate.

Decker drives part-time for Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Truck Series, driving the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado. Although her next race is scheduled to be October 25th at Texas Motor Speedway, an announcement on if she will be medically cleared or not will come from the driver and/or team at a later date.
