After a successful NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Martinsville Speedway earlier this year, Memphis Villarreal is set to return to the track for this weekend’s Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Villarreal, who impressed many by finishing 24th in his debut race with G2G Racing, will carry sponsorship this weekend from Laredo Trailer Supply (LTS). The team is elated to have the young racer back behind the wheel of its Toyota Tundras.

“We are thrilled to have Memphis back in the truck this weekend,” said G2G Racing team owner Tim Viens. “He is coming off a win last weekend at HMP Oval Track in the Protrucks, and we are looking for him to carry his momentum forward. He did extremely well when he was in the truck at Martinsville earlier this year, finishing P24.”

While Memphis may be a city in Tennessee, Villarreal hails from Texas. LTS is a local trailer supply store with two locations in the Laredo, Texas area, which was established in 2006.

“It’s a great pleasure to be a sponsor for Memphis Villarreal. He is very talented and has the drive to become an elite driver in the truck series,” said Homer Valdez Junior, the owner of Laredo Trailer Supply.

The Texas connection makes the partnership a great fit, and Villarreal hopes to snag a great finish for the company in its NASCAR sponsorship debut.

“I’m really excited about racing Nashville, and hope I can have a good showing for the team and the guys at the shop,” Villarreal explained in a statement. “Being able to have Laredo Trailer Supply on the truck for their sponsorship debut means a lot. Knowing they believe in me makes me want to get the best possible finish for them.”

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway is set for Friday, June 23rd. FS1 will carry television coverage of the race beginning at 8:00 PM ET.
