Kevin Harvick was a prolific owner in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, but as they started to plan having a family Harvick and his wife Delana shuttered their race team. Judging by a recent set of Tweets, a revival of KHI may be on the way.

It all started with Harvick’s son Keelan asking his mother Delana whether Ron Hornaday was watching the race at Atlanta as Kyle Busch broke his all-time win record in the Truck Series. The young child then asked whether his parents would build a truck so Hornaday could win another race.

But that isn’t where this all stopped as pops Harvick added fuel to the flame with his response.

A Twitter user named @Irkentier made a very valid point that Ford could use some help getting their numbers up in the Truck Series.

To which Harvick responded back with a thinking emoji.

Now, this Twitter conversation is a long way from the Harvicks re-opening their Truck Series team, but this is the most I personally have heard them even entertain bringing their team back — even if this turns out to be in a joking manner.

Between 2001 and 2011, KHI started 373 trucks in NGOTS races. The KHI team brought home 43 wins and two championships.

The team also won 10 NASCAR Xfinity Series races.
