Layne Riggs has been a driver on a mission over the last two races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The 22-year-old Front Row Motorsports driver took the lead from Corey Heim on a restart with 80 laps remaining in Thursday night’s UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, and he never looked back as he picked up his second consecutive race win.

Following the race, Riggs’ race-winning No. 38 Love’s Travel Stops Front Row Motorsports Ford F-150 was subjected to the post-race inspection bay, where the truck was given a passing grade. As a result, Riggs and his team were officially declared the winners of the race.

Riggs is now a two-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race winner, and the wins have come in back-to-back races at Milwaukee and Bristol. Riggs, who had just one lap led through the opening 16 races of the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, has clicked off 133 laps led over the last two races.

Additionally, Riggs has four consecutive top-five finishes, and his average finish over that span is an incredible 3.0.

There were no issues in the post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Thursday night’s race are considered official.

Corey Heim came home in the runner-up position ahead of Rajah Caruth, Christian Eckes, and Nick Sanchez. With their top-five finishes on Thursday night, Heim, Eckes, and Sanchez have officially clinched their advancement to the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoffs with one race remaining in the Round of 10 (Kansas Speedway).
