Bryan Dauzat and the No. 28 FDNY Racing team are preparing to contest the upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events at Nashville Superspeedway on June 28, and at Pocono Raceway on July 12. The underdog organization has landed a new associate sponsorship from Sherpa Auto Transport, a Charlotte-based national automotive shipping company.

The team is hopeful that their performance in the upcoming events can entice Sherpa Auto Transport to remain with them for additional events.

“We are excited to have Sherpa Auto Transport on the FDNY Racing 28 team for Nashville and Pocono and we hope they are pleased with the results and they continue to be a backer for more,” FDNY Racing team owner Jim Rosenblum said.

With being in the racing industry, FDNY and Sherpa Auto Transport have a lot in common.

“OB Builders understands life over the road. We are glad to be trucking along with Sherpa on our side of racing from everything that involves getting our cars down the road to its race location,” Dauzat said in a team release. “I am pleased to have them around and onboard our No. 28 FDNY race team.”

FDNY’s commitment to honoring first responders aligned with Sherpa Auto Transport’s core, and made the partnership a no-brainer.

“We are privileged to stand alongside FDNY Racing, supporting our courageous first responders,” Jason Karadeema of Sherpa Auto Transport said. “Our partnership ignites a shared commitment to excellence and community. Together, we embark on a journey fueled by passion and purpose, ready to conquer the road ahead.”

FDNY Racing has competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series since the inception of the series in 1995. While they run a part-time schedule, the little team that could packs a big punch when they enter races. In the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway this season, Dauzat scored his second-career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series top-10 finish with a ninth-place effort.

Dauzat will attempt to back that good run up at Nashville Superspeedway and Pocono Raceway.
