Entry list NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt Bristol Dirt
Here is the entry list for the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway.

There are 41 trucks [for 36 spots] on the preliminary entry list for Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway. The sixth event of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.

Among those entered in the event are the series regulars competing for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship from week to week. That includes Carson Hocevar, who scored his first career victory last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Heading into this weekend’s event, the only dirt track on the 2023 NASCAR Truck Series schedule, several full-time organizations have elected to put ‘dirt ringers’ in their vehicles, in hopes of scoring some solid finishes.

Jonathan Davenport, who is set to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut on Sunday, will also make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut this weekend, getting behind the wheel of the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports.

Davenport joins Tanner Carrick as the two drivers that will attempt to make their series debut in Saturday’s event at Bristol. Carrick will pilot the No. 30 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for On Point Motorsports.

Other so-called ‘dirt ringers’ in the field for Saturday’s event include Tyler Carpenter (No. 41 Niece Motorsports), Jerry Bohlman (No. 46 G2G Racing), Andrew Gordon (No. 47 G2G Racing), and Jessica Friesen (No. 62 Halmari Friesen Racing).

Adding more new faces into the mix is the influx of NASCAR Cup Series drivers who are set to compete in Saturday’s event, which includes William Byron, who will drive for Kyle Busch Motorsports.

Joey Logano will pilot a fifth entry for ThorSport Racing, No. 66, in Saturday’s event, while Chase Briscoe will get behind the wheel of AM Racing’s No 22 Ford F-150 to make his second Truck Series start at Bristol on the dirt.

Norm Benning (No. 6) and Parker Kligerman (No. 75) will also return to the series after hiatus of varying lengths, with Norm Benning Racing making their first attempt of the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
